Under pressure for the Masters, Musetti qualifies for the semi-finals in Athens!
On the center court of the Athens tournament, Lorenzo Musetti qualified for the semi-finals.
With a solid victory over Alexandre Muller (6-2, 6-4), the Italian secured his 24th career semi-final, his seventh of the year, and moved a step closer to another final on the tour, but also to a qualification for the ATP Finals in Turin.
Against the Frenchman, Musetti left little for his opponent: 9 aces, 78% of points won behind his first serve, and 51% of return points won, all in just 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Thanks to this victory, the 23-year-old player moves into the final four of the tournament, reaching his 20th career semi-final (already his 7th in 2025). But most importantly: it places him just two wins away from a first trophy since 2022 (Naples) and a historic qualification for the ATP Finals in Turin, his year-end goal.
Next opponent? He will face American Sebastian Korda for a place in the final.
