Video - A player collapses violently to the ground in Challenger due to cramps
During the Santiago Challenger (Chile), the match between Guido Ivan Justo and Genaro Alberto Olivieri ended in a retirement due to severe cramps.
At 5-5, 40-30 on Olivieri's serve in the third set, Justo, suffering from cramps, suddenly collapsed to the ground as he was preparing to play his shot. A frightening fall, followed by another a few seconds later as he tried to get back up.
Despite the assistance of the chair umpire and tournament officials, the world No. 413 attempted to continue the match.
But after writhing in pain during the first point of his service game, he was ultimately forced to retire.
