Video – A spectator attempts to help themselves from Sinner's bag at the US Open

Spectators are certainly making a lot of noise at this 2025 US Open. After the theft of a Polish millionaire's cap during the match between Majchrzak and Khachanov, it's now the world number one's turn to witness some inappropriate behavior from the public.

Indeed, at the end of his quarterfinal win against Bublik (6-1, 6-1, 6-1), Sinner went to meet the fans present at the edge of the court. However, while he was taking photos, a spectator attempted to open his bag to help themselves before being stopped by security.

On the sporting side, Sinner has reached the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam for the eighth consecutive time. As the defending champion and on an impressive hard-court streak, the Italian will have to overcome his compatriot Musetti (10th) for a spot in the final four at Flushing Meadows.
