Video - Alcaraz Delights US Open Crowd with Reflexive Behind-the-Back Shot Against Rinderknech
Carlos Alcaraz is currently playing his round of 16 match at the US Open against Arthur Rinderknech.
The two players went blow for blow in the first set, but the world No. 2 had the final say in a tiebreak won 7-3.
Early in the match, Alcaraz produced one of the shots of the day by countering a backhand attack from Rinderknech with a reflexive behind-the-back shot. Surprised, the Frenchman had no time to react at the net (see video below).
A point that made the Spaniard and the packed New York crowd smile early in the day.
