Andreeva fell to Amanda Anisimova in three sets (7-6, 2-6, 6-3) in the third round of the Miami tournament.
The match was marked by a medical timeout taken by Anisimova during Andreeva’s serve due to a finger blister.

This interruption was questioned by Andreeva, who did not hesitate to make her feelings known to the umpire, stating: "We all know why."
The response from the player in question was swift, as Anisimova shared the blister that had forced her to take an MTO mid-game. In the video, the American justified her decision by firing back:
"Coming from the one who took MTOs in the first two sets."
Anisimova will face Raducanu in the Miami Round of 16.
