Video - Collins whistled for taking the court against Keys
Danielle Collins has been the talk of the Australian Open. Known for her outspokenness, the American was in a chatty mood during her previous round.
Opposed to local Destanee Aiava, Collins, ranked 11th in the world, celebrated her victory by provoking the crowd, having had tensions with certain spectators during the match.
Booed during the handshake and her post-match speech on court, the winner of last year's Masters 1000 in Miami poked fun at the event in a press conference, assuring us that the people who didn't like her but came to see her paid her bills.
Two days later, Collins took to the court once again, this time on Rod Laver Arena, to face team-mate Madison Keys in the third round.
But the moment the announcer announced Collins' name, the entire crowd booed the 31-year-old (see video below).
The latter couldn't help smiling ironically as she returned to her chair on the court.
