Video - Djokovic's huge set point against Alcaraz
Right now, on Rod Laver Arena, the Australian Open quarter-final clash between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic is taking place.
The winner of this summit duel will challenge Alexander Zverev for a place in the final. In a balanced match, the Serb got the better of the Spaniard in the third set.
After a game of cat-and-mouse, Djokovic broke, only to see Alcaraz regain his break point.
But the Serbian was resilient enough to regain his opponent's serve. And when it was time to wrap up, the two men came up with a beautiful set point.
Defending the point, Djokovic had to fend off a drop shot from Alcaraz before returning the ball with a backhand.
However, the four-time Grand Slam winner was unable to close from an attacking position, and Djokovic concluded with a deep backhand passing shot.
Alcaraz, caught short, was unable to straighten out the ball's path (see below).
To a standing ovation on Melbourne's Centre Court, Novak Djokovic took the lead and now leads two sets to one against his young rival. A point that brings him one step closer to a twelfth Australian Open semi-final.
