Video - Net tensions at the end of the match between O’Connell and Carballes Baena

The Indian Wells Masters 1000 is underway. On this first day, unseeded players are trying to find their way to the second round, including the matchup between Christopher O’Connell and Roberto Carballes Baena.
Facing difficulties in the second set, the Australian, ranked 75th in the world, took a medical timeout while trailing 5 games to 0 against the Spaniard.
After winning the first set, O’Connell was pushed into a third set, where he regained his form to eventually win (6-3, 0-6, 6-1).
In the middle of the third set, when Christopher O’Connell already had a double break that seemed decisive at this point in the match, Carballes Baena got frustrated and addressed his opponent.
"Do you feel better now? Earlier you took a medical timeout and you could barely serve," the annoyed Spaniard claimed. O’Connell replied, "Don't I have the right to receive treatment from the physio?"
Moments after winning, O’Connell, as after every match, shook hands with his opponent, but the story continued, and for several seconds, the two men exchanged words, likely revisiting the incident (see video below).
While Carballes Baena is eliminated from the Californian tournament, O’Connell continues his journey in the American desert and will face Matteo Berrettini in the next round.
