Video - Norrie's Magnificent Defensive Point Against Alcaraz in Paris
Cameron Norrie produced a very high-level point right from the first game of his match against Carlos Alcaraz at the Paris tournament.
The second round of the Paris Masters 1000 has already begun. On Tuesday evening, the first matches for the round of 16 are taking place. World number 1, Alcaraz, opened the evening session program on the Central Court and, in doing so, made his entry into the second round against Cameron Norrie.
Right from the first game of the match, the two men provided a spectacle. While the Spaniard had taken the initiative in the rally during the fourth point, the Brit, patient in defense, finished the point with a running backhand passing shot that went straight past Alcaraz, who was nonetheless at the net looking to finish the point (see below).
