Video - The Incredible Behind-the-Back Shot by a Doubles Player in Houston
Ryan Seggerman (ranked 411th in singles, 76th in doubles) is a player unknown to the general public, but there’s no doubt he’ll be making the rounds on social media this weekend.
During his doubles quarterfinal in Houston, lost to the pair Romboli/Smith, Seggerman, while serving in the first set, saw his partner Trhac get caught off guard at the net by a return lob.
The American then rushed to the ball, leaving his opponents stunned with a behind-the-back shot that ended in a winning point (see video below).
A point that electrified the crowd on the tournament’s outer court.
