Video - The Turin crowd's ovation for Alcaraz in the Masters final!
Carlos Alcaraz received a beautiful ovation from the Italian crowd in the 2025 Masters final.
In his first ATP Finals final, the Spanish prodigy had to face, throughout the match, a crowd firmly behind his opponent. A rare phenomenon for him.
Indeed, since 2021, the competition has been held in Turin (Italy) and will continue there until 2028. And since his breakthrough, Jannik Sinner has become the hero of an entire nation, excited to see him play at home each time.
But while the Italian supporters made themselves heard during this final, they were always respectful and did not hesitate to pay tribute to the native of El Palmar after his defeat (7-6, 7-5).
