19 wins against the top 10: the stat that elevates Sinner to Federer's level, just behind Nadal and Djokovic
Jannik Sinner concluded his 2025 season yesterday with a second consecutive ATP Finals title, simultaneously becoming the first player to win this trophy twice without dropping a single set.
The Italian, despite his three-month suspension for negligence between February and May, won six titles (Australian Open, Wimbledon, Beijing, Vienna, Paris, and the ATP Finals) and also reached four other finals.
Impressive numbers, just like his 19 wins against the top 10 this year.
This is the third-highest total in the 21st century, tied with Federer (19 in 2006) and surpassed only by Nadal (24 in 2013) and Djokovic (31 in 2015).
