Novak Djokovic didn't take kindly to Holger Rune's fans cheering him on in the form of "Ruuuuuuneeee", which sounded a lot like "boo". Especially when these "Ruuuunnneee" were the result of errors by the Serb. He didn't hesitate to make this clear, with a touch of humor mixed with a great deal of annoyance, during his post-match interview (see video below).

Novak Djokovic: "To all the fans who have respect and who stayed tonight, thank you very much, from the bottom of my heart. And to all those people who chose to be disrespectful to the players, and in this case to me, I wish you a 'gooooood niiiight' (whistles from the stands). That was disrespectful, I don't accept the explanation of Rune's cheering. No, no, no. I know they were rooting for Rune but that's an excuse to go 'boo' too. I've been on the ATP Tour for over 20 years, so believe me, I know the tricks. I know how it works.

But it's all good, it's okay. I focus on the respectful people who paid their ticket to watch the match tonight, and who love tennis (boos and applause from the stands). Who love tennis and appreciate the players and the effort they put in.
