Video - Unreal speech from Djokovic, very angry with some Centre Court spectators!

Novak Djokovic didn't take kindly to Holger Rune's fans cheering him on in the form of "Ruuuuuuneeee", which sounded a lot like "boo". Especially when these "Ruuuunnneee" were the result of errors by the Serb. He didn't hesitate to make this clear, with a touch of humor mixed with a great deal of annoyance, during his post-match interview (see video below).

Novak Djokovic: "To all the fans who have respect and who stayed tonight, thank you very much, from the bottom of my heart. And to all those people who chose to be disrespectful to the players, and in this case to me, I wish you a 'gooooood niiiight' (whistles from the stands). Goooood niight, goooood niight, a very good night.

That was disrespectful, I don't accept the explanation of Rune's cheering. No, no, no. I know they were rooting for Rune but that's an excuse to go 'boo' too. I've been on the ATP Tour for over 20 years, so believe me, I know the tricks. I know how it works.

But it's all good, it's okay. I focus on the respectful people who paid their ticket to watch the match tonight, and who love tennis (boos and applause from the stands). Who love tennis and appreciate the players and the effort they put in.

I've played in much more hostile environments, trust me, you can't touch me."

Sad... Even without Fedal, he still doesn't get love from the spectators. Really sad

Sad is that people like you dont want to see how much love he gets from most of the spectators, and that must be because... oh yeah, love from the (western) crowd is the only thing which is left to Fedal. Byyyyeee

Oh, come on, he doesn't claim that, Novak is the GOAT and he is loved more than Fedals can imagine!
But, I guess that's the only thing that they can still hang on to.......lol

So, for all the broken heart Fedals.........GOOOOOOOOD NIGHT........lol

The spectators were very very rude. Tennis is his job as well. They were booing him after every single point. Spectators on Wimbledon are really the worst.

Why are people expecting him to be loved as Fed and Rafa I don't understand!! He is consistent, unmatched determination and he is a true champion. In every sport underdogs are cheered, not champions.. and to become and stay the champ for this long needs balls of steel.. so keep your love to yourself as he doesn't need it, he already has got it from true tennis fans and not favourite fanboys who drool over LOVE..

Que hizo Novak en el baño ??

Shame, a bit pathetic... I agree it is rude and that kind of shouting should only exist in wrestling or football... But at Wimbledon it is an ugly sight.

Behaving like they behave in France now...
