Unusual scene in 2018 in Vienna: in the middle of a match against Lucas Pouille, Borna Coric launched into a monologue, alone on his chair. A discussion with himself that, visibly, paid off: the Croatian ended up winning in three sets.

Left to their own devices on the court, tennis players all have their little habits. In Vienna in 2018, Borna Coric faced Lucas Pouille in the second round.

During a changeover, the Croatian began talking to himself, delivering a monologue of about twenty seconds that was unfortunately inaudible.

A self-coaching session that worked since he emerged victorious from this match in three sets (4-6, 6-0, 6-4).

Favoritism?

Last year: Sinner seed 1, the organizers schedule Alcaraz on day 1, Sinner on day 2.

This year: Alcaraz seed 1, the organizers schedule Alcaraz on day 1, Sinner on day 3.

That means: 7 matches in 15 days for Alcaraz, 7 in 13 days for Sinner; and no rest day for Sinner between quarter and semis, 1 full day rest for Alcaraz.

Also, on the first very hot day, the organizers schedule Sinner...

TT- Your pop up ads almost make the app unusable.

FYI- Ive never bought a single item from any of them after years of using your app, a goal that started as short term but has developed into long term.
