Vienna creates a surprise with its new court… a setting never seen on the ATP Tour!
On the eve of the start of the qualifiers, the Vienna ATP 500 unveiled its brand new side court.
In previous editions, players found themselves playing under a tent, as noted by the account 'Oleg.S' on the platform X (formerly Twitter).
For this season, it is in the heart of the Marx Halle, a space used for events, that players will compete on the tournament's second court. A change made to meet the growing demand from fans wanting to attend the event.
By 2030, organizers plan to move the tournament to a new multi-sports venue.
This year, Vienna will host Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Alex de Minaur, Lorenzo Musetti, Daniil Medvedev, and Andrey Rublev.
