Video - When Tsonga won Paris-Bercy in 2008
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga arrived at the Paris tournament in 2008 with confidence. In his luggage, his first ATP title won in Bangkok the previous month and a semi-final at the Lyon tournament a few days earlier.
The Frenchman electrified the Bercy arena throughout the week by successively beating Radek Stepanek, Novak Djokovic, Andy Roddick, James Blake, and David Nalbandian.
On his match point during the final against the Argentine, Tsonga was able to unleash his joy and emotion and shared a beautiful moment of communion with the French public.
That day, he won the first of his two Masters 1000 titles, the second being won in Toronto in 2014.
