Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner were, quite clearly, the two best players of the 2025 season. Sharing Grand Slam titles, they took their shared rivalry to another level.

While Sinner had the most successful season (9 titles and world number 1), Alcaraz dominated head-to-head matches (3 wins to nil this year).

The duel where their confrontation reached its climax was probably their match in the Beijing final, where the Spaniard triumphed after almost 3h30 of monumental combat (6-7, 6-4, 7-6).
