With victories over Ebden (6-0, 6-1), Nadal (6-1, 6-4), Koepfer (7-5, 6-3), Tsitsipas (6-3, 7-6), Musetti (6-4, 6-2) and finally Alcaraz (7-6, 7-6), Djokovic had finally won the title he had so desperately wanted.
