Rafael Nadal has forever marked the history of our sport. Almost the undisputed king of the French Open for almost 20 years, 'Rafa' left his mark on several generations with his extraordinary game.

As a Christmas gift to our readers, we take the liberty of recalling the very first point of the very first match played by the Majorcan at Porte d'Auteuil.

Against Lars Burgsmuller, he won in three sets (6-1, 7-6, 6-1). The first point was a foretaste of what he was to put his rivals through for many years to come (see video below)!
