Vienna: Zverev Eliminates Musetti and Reaches Final Against Sinner
Alexander Zverev delivered one of his best performances of the season against Lorenzo Musetti to reach the final of the ATP 500 tournament in Vienna.
This Saturday in Vienna, the world No. 3 dominated Lorenzo Musetti, the world No. 8, with a score of 6-4, 7-5, to reach his 40th career final and record his 300th hard court victory.
After suffering three consecutive defeats against the Italian, Zverev showed great control: unshakeable on his serve (0 break points conceded) and effective on his service games (83% of points won behind his first serve).
This victory also marks his third win against a top 10 player, as well as his fourth final of the season. On Sunday, he will face the world No. 2, Jannik Sinner, for a duel already rich in history, with Zverev holding a 4-3 advantage in their previous encounters.
