"What a dream match!" – Isner and Johnson discuss Sinner and Federer
Sinner made a strong impression by defeating Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final (4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4). Having reached the final in the last four Grand Slam tournaments, the Italian seems to hold a considerable advantage over his rivals. A dominance reminiscent of Federer’s when he first began winning on the tour.
This comparison has sparked much speculation. On the *Nothing Major Show*, Isner and Johnson ended up discussing a dream match that would have pitted Wimbledon’s record-holder, Federer, against the recent 2025 champion, Sinner.

S.J.: "I would have loved to see Roger in a match like that!"
There’s no doubt such a showdown would have been a spectacular display, given how complementary the two players’ styles seem to be.
