When you haven't won a Grand Slam in a year and a half, you wonder if it's really worth continuing, Djokovic questions his future

Novak Djokovic hasn't won a Grand Slam since his US Open victory in 2023 against Daniil Medvedev. The Serbian, now 38 years old, is questioning his future and making cryptic statements.

He told Serbian media Sportklub: "When you haven't won a Grand Slam in a year and a half, you wonder if it's really worth continuing."

Although he won his 100th title in Geneva and reached a strong semifinal at Roland-Garros, it's not enough for the Serbian, who is only interested in Grand Slam titles.

Not much else to prove is there... He wants to be remembered as the best ever...(male or female) He has a huge ego that is for sure ... He is a great player amongst other great players but the new generation is already here...I truly believe he really should retire gracefully. There are many hundreds of active players who have never won a single ATP title, let alone a Grand Slam

Belinda, even that we all know where you coming from and how "nicely" you try to diminish Novak's achievements, but Novak is the GREATEST amongst other great players and he will be remembered that way until someone better don't arrive.
By "better", I mean in the long run.

Khan, I'm surprised still seeing you here, on TT!

I thought that you are following golf now....or fishing. Unless Rafael was able to surgically remove you from his "itchy" place? :)

Zverev, Tsitsipas and Medvedev are frauds.
Dominic was better than them but had to give up after that wrists of his gave away

I agree on Zverev and Tipsy, but I'd say Med has shown a very high level in the past and has a really good overall record of tournament wins. Ultimately the other two were not good enough. Agree on Thiem.

It's possible he could win another major, but improbable. All of the really good players know he can't run a lot for 3 sets straight. But not Zverev.
