Who is the GOAT? Stan Wawrinka answers

Currently in Athens to compete in the ATP 250 tournament, Stan Wawrinka answered questions from journalists on site. Asked about the eternal debate over the greatest player in history, the Swiss player stated the following:

"Novak has won everything, more than anyone else. He has won everything, he improves every year, at every tournament. For me, it's clear. In the end, I think I was lucky to play in the same era as him, as Roger, as Rafa, as Andy. They were the best players in the world for many years.

It was always a great challenge, but as a fan, it was great to see them face each other, to fight, to see how Novak, who was younger, evolved to challenge them. That's the beauty of sport, the beauty of tennis: every player has the possibility to improve, to beat anyone, and Novak has done that more than anyone." Comments relayed by our colleagues at "We Love Tennis".

Meanwhile, Wawrinka successfully started his campaign in Greece against Van de Zandschulp (2-6, 7-6, 7-5) and will face Musetti in the next round.
