Wimbledon Wild Cards for Men: Dan Evans Receives Invite, One Spot Still Up for Grabs

The Wimbledon tournament, scheduled from June 30 to July 13, announced the men's wild cards this Wednesday.

Former world No. 21 and currently ranked 199th, Dan Evans has been invited by the organizers. Despite a gradual decline in the rankings, he has had a strong start to the grass season, including a win over Frances Tiafoe at Queen’s.

The other wild-card recipients are Jay Clarke, Oliver Crawford, George Loffhagen, Johannus Monday, Jack Pinnington Jones, and Henry Searle.

The final wild card has yet to be awarded and will likely go to a winner of one of the grass-court Challenger events held in Britain.
