Without convincing, Alcaraz reaches the second round at Wimbledon!

Carlos Alcaraz didn't exactly shine on Monday. The titleholder in London, the Spaniard didn't always seem at ease, but managed to secure the essential: a 3-set qualification for the rest of the tournament.

Facing the modest Mark Lajal (269th and from the qualifiers), 'Carlito' didn't put on his best show, conceding his serve twice and making a few too many errors (30). Despite this, Alcaraz was able to raise the bar in the important moments to limit the damage and avoid a long match.

Having qualified for the second round, he will now meet the winner of the match between Vukic and Ofner.
