WTA Finals - Sabalenka dominates Paolini to book her place in the semi-finals
Aryna Sabalenka never wavered.
Already a solid winner over Qinwen Zheng on Saturday (6-3, 6-4), the Belarusian mastered an ever-dangerous Jasmine Paolini to perfection (6-3, 7-5).
With two wins from two matches and no set lost, the world number one has already secured her place in the semi-finals.
In a complete match, Sabalenka relied on the fundamentals of her tennis: an efficient serve, high physical intensity and outstanding hitting power.
Blowing away an Italian as feisty as ever, she will probably leave Zheng and Paolini to fight it out for second place in the group.
