WTA Shifts into High Gear: Mercedes-Benz Becomes Main Sponsor Starting in 2026!
Starting in 2026, the WTA will secure the support of a top-tier main sponsor. The governing body of the women's circuit announced this Wednesday the signing of a multi-year partnership with Mercedes-Benz, which will take effect from next season.
This change marks a significant turning point for the WTA, whose main sponsor since 2022 has been the American medical company Hologic.
A partnership launching in February
With the arrival of Mercedes-Benz, the women's circuit is set to reach a new milestone. The German manufacturer will be visible across all WTA 250, 500, and 1000 tournaments, with its logo notably displayed on the sides of the nets.
The brand will also provide vehicles for players throughout the competitions.
In its press release, the WTA specifies that Mercedes-Benz will serve as the main sponsor for nearly 30 tournaments in 2026. The partnership will officially launch in February, coinciding with the Abu Dhabi and Ostrava tournaments, scheduled from February 1st to 7th.
