Roger Federer was never just a champion: he is a source of inspiration for generations of players.

And at an event organized by Mercedes-Benz, the man with 20 Grand Slam titles shared some advice for today's young players.

"You will sometimes have to take one or two steps back"

"My advice to aspiring professionals is to fight. Aim for the stars, land on the moon, go for it, work hard, have fun, but know well that it will be a battle and that you will sometimes have to take one or two steps back," he explains.

A phrase that resonates as an unavoidable truth in a sport where the quest for glory is often mixed with pain, pressure, and loneliness.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
