Zhang withdraws from the Miami Masters 1000, Tien enters the main draw

As the Miami Masters 1000 quickly follows the ongoing Indian Wells tournament, one player has withdrawn just days before the main draw. This player is Zhang Zhizhen, ranked 51st in the ATP rankings.
The Chinese player is coming off four consecutive losses on the main tour, the most recent being in the first round at Indian Wells, where he narrowly lost to Gabriel Diallo (2-6, 6-2, 7-6).
His withdrawal benefits Learner Tien. The young American player, who had received a wild card, now enters the main draw directly, freeing up an invitation for another player.
Tien experienced a similar situation at Indian Wells, where he took advantage of Nicolas Jarry's injury withdrawal to make his appearance in the main draw. After Arthur Cazaux, Juncheng Shang, and Thanasi Kokkinakis, Zhang, 28, is also forced to withdraw from the Florida tournament.
