Zverev asks Pep Guardiola to come back and coach Bayern Munich
A funny scene on Wimbledon's Centre Court. Interviewed after his match against Cameron Norrie, Alexander Zverev took the opportunity to pass on a personal message. A total fan of Pep Guardiola, former FC Barcelona player and current Manchester City coach, the German took advantage of the Spaniard's presence in the stands to ask him to come back and coach Bayern Munich, which he previously coached from 2013 to 2016 (see video below).
Alexander Zverev: "We have so many great guests in the stands. For me, soccer legend Pep Guardiola... I mean... When I saw Pep, it made me so nervous for a few games (laughs). Thank you so much for coming, it's a great privilege, a great honor to play in front of you.
And, by the way, one last thing: Bayern Munich needs a coach (laughs). And if you're tired of soccer, you can coach me on a tennis court anytime (laughs)."
