Zverev: "I hope to be at 100% in Australia".
Alexander Zverev isn't completely out of the woods yet.
Although he has decided to continue his season and miss only a few tournaments, Alexander Zverev was keen to clarify the situation in a press conference.
With the ATP 500 in Vienna coming up this week, the world number 3 was keen to point out that his pneumonia had not yet been cured and that he was still unable to play at 100%.
In a statement relayed by Tennisnet, he said: "It's really going to take time.
You have to take the right medication, clean out the lungs, it's not a matter of a few weeks.
I hope to be at 100% in Australia (January 2025)."
