Zverev Solid in His Opening Match at the Miami Masters 1000

Alexander Zverev reassured himself this Saturday by winning his second-round match at the Miami Masters 1000 against Jacob Fearnley (6-2, 6-4) in 1 hour and 14 minutes of play.
The two players had already faced each other at the Australian Open earlier this year, in the third round, and Zverev had emerged victorious in three sets (6-3, 6-4, 6-4).
On the Miami court, the German displayed a much more convincing level of play (19 winners and 6 aces) than during his last outing in Indian Wells.
He primarily relied on his serve (93% first serves and 83% of points won behind it) against an opponent who was too erratic (8 winners to 19 unforced errors) and never stood a chance in this match.
Very composed in his first match of the tournament, the world No. 2 could face Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in his next round, if the Frenchman manages to defeat Jordan Thompson.
