Zverev strolls through to the second round

Alexander Zverev's start to the tournament was almost perfect. Faced with an opponent very much his match, the German didn't hesitate to reach the second round.

Unperturbed, the world number 4 dominated all aspects of the game, particularly on serve (18 aces, 86% first serve winners, 47 winners, 27 unforced errors), to logically dominate Carballes Baena in just under 2 hours (6-2, 6-4, 6-2).

Untouchable, he will face the winner of the match between Searle and Giron in the next round.
