Zverev talks about electronic officiating: "I like it. I think there was a problem with the one in Madrid"
Alexander Zverev addressed the press in Rome regarding the controversy over the electronic officiating error in Madrid during his match against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
While he criticizes this error, he does not blame the system itself: "To be honest, I like electronic officiating. I think there were no errors in Monte-Carlo, nor in Munich.
I think there was a problem with the system in Madrid. Personally, I attribute this to the Madrid tournament. I think the previous weeks, it had worked perfectly.
There were no errors. When errors occur like in Madrid, maybe the system needs to be readjusted for the next day, adjusted a bit. Overall, Monte-Carlo and Munich worked perfectly."
