Tears of sorrow with a loss.
Condemnation. Tears of joy with a win.
Happy for her.

Looks like the FO men's side is going to be equally boring. I wonder if the top women players will cave again. Don't eat the shrimp tacos!!!

To put the handshaking issue to rest once and for all.
No one has the moral right to speak of something they know nothing about: the grief that all of Ukraine is experiencing. And this grief was brought to Ukraine by fascist Russia, of which Andreeva is a representative. Russian tennis players, who do not support the atrocities committed by Putin and his army, are changing their flag to condemn what their homeland is doing. Andreeva, Sabalenka, and many other athletes from Russia and Belarus living in Europe and the United States, if they were decent people, would condemn this bloody massacre, but they have not said a word against this war, proving that they do not consider it abnormal. And no one who knows nothing about this grief should tell Ukrainian athletes to shake the hands of those who have not spoken out against Russia's war in Ukraine. And I don't want you to experience what war is like in your country, in your city, sleepless nights with sirens wailing and missiles hitting the neighboring house. Crying children, whose parents are killed by these missiles and drones, rivers of blood and the never-ending horror of what Russia is doing in Ukraine.
Marta, you're amazing. Come on, girl. Go ahead. Your time has come.
