Dimi has the edge here so I root for him. But with that said Stockholm could trigger some mind issues for him since it was his maiden ATP and that he hasn't managed to reproduce it in Stockholm, plus he lost to del P last year. If he doesn't fall into the mental trap he should be able to take it though.

Don't want to spoil the euphoria about the "good guy" del Potro. And it's difficult not to have sympathy for him and want him all good because of what he has gone through, I do that myself! But, the truth is that he has not always been Mr nice guy. I remember one time when he cursed Murray's mom during a match against him in Rome in the beginning of his senior career. That was anything but nice! Of course you can blame youth for it, but yet. You can Google "del Potro cursing Murray's mother" and I'm sure you'll find the clip.

My prediction was lousy nothing more nothing less. I think this was an unusual match from Grigor. Usually he starts off great and gets problems at the end. But today he never really got his game working while at the same time Del Potro continued as stable as the tiebreak in the semi. Big congrats to the tower of Tandil!

What do you say guys? Dimitrov looks more shaky than I thought. Del Potro looks stable on the other hand and right now looks as the likely winner.

Delpotro clinched the first set as expected. He just has to ride on to the momentum now. A powerful combination of serve and forehand is working. Dimitrov don't have answers so far.
