Tauson defeats Muchova to reach her first WTA 1000 final in Dubai

Clara Tauson continued her dream week in the United Arab Emirates by eliminating Karolina Muchova (6-4, 6-7, 6-3) in the semi-finals of the WTA 1000 Dubai in 2h53 of play.

The Dane, who had upset world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka earlier in the week, confirmed her feat yesterday in the quarter-finals against Noskova, before getting the better of Muchova today.

Despite conceding a break at the start of the third set, Tauson held her nerve to come right back into the match and then make the difference at the end.

Tomorrow, she will face Mirra Andreeva in an unprecedented final in Dubai, in a bid to win the biggest title of her young career.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.
