Even if Novak loses 1st round he will cross Connors and Lendl. As long as tournament wins are divided he has a good chance of remaining no 1. One other guy has to win it all to be no 1 this year. Rafa's worst part of the season is usually after the USO. I don't think Roger has realistic chance of becoming no 1. The new guys are too far behind. Murray won 5-6 tournaments after USO 16 to become no 1. I don't think there is any other player other than Novak who has capabilities to win 3-4 tournaments from now till ATP finals. So, hopefully this will work out even if he has average results rest of the year.
