This should be an exciting match and I just may watch and give my expert review on these 2 players. Both players seem to be about even on a lot of things such as age, height, and weight and also talk the same Mexican language. And both are left-handers. But this Pablo character I have doubts about since he seems he just don't win tennis games anymore. I will have to check my books I wrote on Tennis Facts and Figures about the history of these 2 Bozos before I give my expert prediction on this match.

Short balls. 😅🤣😂

Can't help it. It's early here.

Easy win for Nadal

Lol Diego, again stupidity comes out of your mouth. I said going to be a problem against big hitters.

Diego Mathey
Jeff seriously what is your problem with me? When have I dosrespected you like u disrespect me telling me "stupidity coming out of your mouth"?
1
realJeffWest
Cannot handle stupidity. You have an aura of it.

Indeed divij indeed

We’ve seen him like this before tho, being slow and not getting to balls when he plays big opponents. So maybe he has a strategy? Surely his coaching team would have pointed it out. Who knows tho
1
realJeffWest
If he’s able to get Stef behind the baseline then it could be his match but if he’s hitting short balls and Stef is inside the base line, Nadal is fried.

christinenelles88
That wasn't pretty.

Divij Gera
Yeah true
But I still think stef will outhit rafa

realJeffWest
Hopefully, and just hopefully Nadal raises his level like he’s done before but cannot see it being raised that much.

That AO match was just heartbreaking

Ya I had to stop watching tennis after that match haha

Would love to see Federer win another major

It is interesting to see what Tsitsi will bring to counter Nadals go to plan with that Heavy top spin crosscourt FH to his BH. If he can solve that riddle then he will have a great chance.

Stef is an improved player now ,he doesn't make simple errors and give u chances like PCB and all the previous opponents.....tomorrow will be a real test, hope he raises his level

After carefully studying the history between these two, I predict Nadal wins this match. I am going out on a limb here, but hopefully I am right. Pablo is just playing piss-poor tennis just like his washed up bros, Monfils, Murray, Tsonga.

Rafa has improved with every match here. His serving has improved, unforced errors have reduced. From being 20% of his best last week against Rublev, he is probably close to 60-70% of his best. Still there are double faults and easy unforced errors, but far less than last few days

christinenelles88
I want to see his backhand up the line working at 99.9%. (Perfect being impossible)

It is the same with AO favorites:

1. Novak
2. Djokovic
