No real surprise there.

Coco Gauff arrived in New York in a declining state of confidence (3 wins in 6 matches), and was unable to complete the double and retain the title she won in 2023.

Already badly beaten by Svitolina in the third round (3-6, 6-3, 6-3), she succumbed on Sunday to her compatriot Emma Navarro, ranked 12th in the world (6-3, 4-6, 6-3).

The 20-year-old prodigy gave it her all throughout the match, but her opponent's tactics and her own inconsistency (61 unforced errors) proved too much for her.

In terms of rankings, she loses out big time, dropping out of the world's top 5 and into 6th place.

The automatic translations have been pretty poor the last couple of days. They made the same mistake in another headline.

Why is TT changing the sex of some female players, first Jasmine Paolini, now Coco Gauff, do they know something that the rest of us don't 🤔 🤣😂

TT- Your pop up ads almost make the app unusable.

FYI- Ive never bought a single item from any of them after years of using your app, a goal that started as short term but has developed into long term.

Hello I'm new

I am surprised about relatively low attendance at Roland Garros which was the most popular slam 20+ years ago. I myself love it as well as really loving aus and us opens. I don't care about Wimbledon, sometimes maybe I can watch women's tennis. I hate Wimbledon's white dress code, I feel like I am watching junior tennis...I watched very few matches like Graf davenport final in 1999 the last time.....
