You've Never Played Tennis in Your Life, the Altercation Between Sinner and the Chair Umpire

During his final against Taylor Fritz in Tokyo, Carlos Alcaraz received a time violation warning for taking too long to serve.

For him, it was an unfair decision because he had just played a long point that ended at the net.

At the next changeover, the world number one took the opportunity to explain himself to the chair umpire, Fergus Murphy.

"Is this normal? I finish the point at the net, I'm a bit tired from the point, and I can't go get the balls to serve. Do you think that's normal or not? You've never played tennis in your life!
