Danielle Collins didn't just blow out her 32 candles. True to her explosive and unfiltered temperament, the American used her birthday to send an ironic message to her exes.

A complicated season... but still an atypical personality

Danielle Collins is going through a mixed period. At 32, the American hasn't had a season up to her ambitions.

Eliminated right from her debut at the US Open by Jaqueline Cristian (6-2, 6-0), she had to prematurely end her 2025 year.

But that's not all, as the player had surprised fans when an ad posted on a dating site was shared:

"I am currently a professional tennis player, but I aspire to become a traditional wife. If you lie about your height, leave me alone. It's a no-go zone for short guys."

New romance and unprecedented confidences

However, as a guest on the Nothing Major podcast, hosted by John Isner, Sam Querrey, Steve Johnson and Jack Sock, Danielle Collins made a revelation: she is no longer single.

"I'm seeing someone. We've already been on eight or nine dates, and everything went very quickly. He knows nothing about tennis, he has blue eyes and works in finance. He just started his own company."

Before adding, true to herself:

"I'm a strong woman, I'm not for everyone. I have a lot of personality and I can be a bit explosive... as many have noticed on the court."

The birthday message with a hint of settling scores

Finally, on her 32nd birthday, Danielle Collins offered her followers a memorable Instagram story:

"I would like to thank my therapist and all the gay men for helping me reach 32."

A sharp and funny phrase, which sums up the unfiltered personality of the American well.

And good luck to the man she's dating. Let's see how long that lasts.

As we move to the end of this month and also closing out the year I am wishing all of those following me a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Healthy New Year.

Let's make that wish for all 2000 plus players hoping for 5 wins each day. Hoping ŵhen we open the results page to see all green, and no red. And especially NO CANCELED matches.

From me and my rotti JAZ, I bid you all good night, and see you in...

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?
