Wins Against the Top 10: Sabalenka Dethrones Swiatek!

Thanks to her victory over Gauff (7-6, 6-2), Aryna Sabalenka has just become the player with the most wins against the top 10 since 2017, even surpassing Iga Świątek.

The Belarusian has just made a major statement on the WTA tour. By securing her 54th win against a top 10 player since her professional debut in 2017, the 27-year-old player surpasses Iga Świątek (53) and stands alone at the top of a category that speaks volumes about her consistency and her ability to dominate the world's best players.

When she first started on the tour, Sabalenka was mainly known for her fiery temper and powerful hitting. Eight years later, she is a four-time Grand Slam champion, a regular finalist, and now one of the most feared players on the circuit. Her win rate against the top 10 now exceeds 50%, an exceptional figure.

Behind this record also lies a great rivalry. Since 2020, Sabalenka and Świątek have been exchanging the throne of women's tennis through monstrous performances.
