But for Andy Roddick, it's not these numbers that tell the essential story. On his podcast "Served with Andy Roddick," the former champion doesn't dwell on sporting dominance, but on an aspect he considers unprecedented:
"After his loss to Draper at Indian Wells, Carlos said: 'I was trying to find solutions, but I felt insecure and nervous.' Same for Sinner at the US Open.
I don't know if we've ever had two guys so honest about their flaws when the rest of the world sees none. It's not a normal thing for a player to say that. It's unprecedented."
An unprecedented transparency for players who already wear the suit of the tour's bosses.
If they were so transparent, jannik would have revealed his doping offence immediately. Instead he lied for months and only spoke about it when the press wrote about it.
