Video - Gilles Simon's Unusual Shot: A Volley That Electrified Antwerp in 2019

A winning volley from behind the head? It seems improbable, but Gilles Simon did it during the Antwerp tournament in 2019.

In his first-round match against local player Steve Darcis, the Frenchman won a crazy rally, pulling off an unorthodox volley after his opponent's tweener.

A shot that made Darcis smile, clearly frustrated by the success rate of the former world No. 6.

Simon ended up winning that day with a commanding score: 6-1, 6-2.
