The "Million Dollar 1 Point Slam" hasn't even started yet but it's already generating debate. The concept is simple: 32 players (including 10 amateurs), one decisive point, and 1 million Australian dollars to win.
When questioned on "The Tennis Podcast," tournament director Craig Tiley stated:
"We received a call from Sinner, but also from Venus Williams and other professionals who are enthusiastic and eager to register for the tournament."
Among the first confirmed participants, Carlos Alcaraz has already confirmed his attendance. Now, all eyes are on world number 2 Jannik Sinner, who appears to be more than just interested.
