Sinner called us: Million Dollar 1 Point Slam already making headlines

An unprecedented tournament and a staggering sum for just one point. Jannik Sinner has reportedly officially expressed his desire to participate in the "Million Dollar 1 Point Slam." This information has been confirmed by Craig Tiley, head of the Australian Open.

The "Million Dollar 1 Point Slam" hasn't even started yet but it's already generating debate. The concept is simple: 32 players (including 10 amateurs), one decisive point, and 1 million Australian dollars to win.

When questioned on "The Tennis Podcast," tournament director Craig Tiley stated:

"We received a call from Sinner, but also from Venus Williams and other professionals who are enthusiastic and eager to register for the tournament."

Among the first confirmed participants, Carlos Alcaraz has already confirmed his attendance. Now, all eyes are on world number 2 Jannik Sinner, who appears to be more than just interested.
