Winning return for Arthur Rinderknech at the Rolex Paris Masters!

Le 27/10/2025 à 15h06 par Arthur Millot
Winning return for Arthur Rinderknech at the Rolex Paris Masters!

He had made his mark in Shanghai by reaching the first Masters 1000 final of his career. Two weeks later, Arthur Rinderknech is back on the court.

Facing Fabian Marozsan, the Frenchman had to battle to come out on top: 7-6, 7-6, after 2 hours and 6 minutes of play. This was a rare feat for the player, as he had lost 8 of the last 10 tie-breaks he had played.

Furthermore, Marozsan, ranked 48th in the world, didn't give an inch and even created more break point opportunities than his opponent throughout the match (1/5 compared to 1/3 for the Frenchman). Nevertheless, his accuracy behind his first serve (80% of points won) greatly helped the 30-year-old player secure his victory today.

Now qualified for the second round, Rinderknech could once again face his cousin Vacherot. But the Monegasque player must first challenge the Czech Jiri Lehecka in his opening match.
