Can Sinner beat McEnroe's indoor hard court record?
As the 2025 Paris Masters has begun, Jannik Sinner arrives in top form, boasting a streak of 21 undefeated matches on indoor hard courts.
The Italian has not yet won a Masters 1000 title in 2025, but the form he displays on indoor hard courts suggests an interesting outcome in Paris. Since 2024, the Italian has strung together 21 consecutive victories. A streak that places him on the path to historic records, like those of McEnroe, Djokovic, and even Federer.
With two tournaments left in the season, Sinner could add ten wins to his streak, which would bring his total close to John McEnroe's 47 consecutive victories, a record considered almost impossible to beat.
1- John McEnroe: 47 victories between 1978 and 1987.
2 - Novak Djokovic: 35 victories between 2012 and 2015.
3 - Roger Federer: 33 consecutive victories between 2004 and 2007.
4 - Ivan Lendl: 32 consecutive victories.
5 - Pete Sampras and Stefan Edberg: 25 consecutive victories (1996-1997) and (1986-1988).
6 - Andy Murray: 20 victories between 2016 and 2019.
From his first match, Sinner could reach 22 consecutive victories against Zizou Bergs. But the real test will likely be the final, where Alcaraz could be waiting for him.

Still contend if the guy hadn't had so many mental issues he would have a lot more majors.
He still holds the record for the most singles and doubles titles at a major, 8 at both W and the USO.
McEnroe had a total of I think 20 major championships of singles, doubles and mixed doubles. (Can you imagine all the whining about how tired they were if today's players competed in both singles, doubles and mixed doubles!)
