Henin: "Alcaraz offers fewer guarantees than Sinner indoors"
On the sidelines of the end of the Turin Masters, Justine Henin analyzed the two gems of world tennis: Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.
From the Eurosport studios, the seven-time Grand Slam champion observes, dissects, and her analysis of the Alcaraz-Sinner duel is as follows:
"We saw, in the group match he played against Taylor Fritz, that Alcaraz seriously got himself into difficulty. Under these circumstances, despite his progress and considerable improvements, he still offers fewer guarantees than Sinner.
He has the motivation, but he still needs energy and an adequate level of play. We cannot guarantee what will happen, but we still have a small idea of what could happen."
Ahead of a tricky semi-final against Felix Auger-Aliassime, this observation rings as a warning. Conversely, Jannik Sinner appears to Henin as the most reliable player indoors.
