10,000 points: Sinner joins Djokovic in ATP history

10,000 points: Sinner joins Djokovic in ATP history

At 24 years old, Jannik Sinner has just achieved what only Novak Djokovic has been capable of since the ATP ranking points system changed in 2009.

Indeed, the Italian has crossed a symbolic barrier that few players have even dared to consider: surpassing the 10,000 ATP points mark for the second consecutive season.

Until now, only Novak Djokovic had achieved such consistency, with six consecutive seasons in five figures between 2011 and 2016.

Sinner thus becomes the second player in history to enter this ultra-exclusive circle. A feat that speaks volumes about his talent and precocity.

Kudos to Sinner for doing twice. Can he get a hat trick with a 3rd.
